It will be necessary for you

to express your seceptence of the con-

ditions stated in this letter before

your selection can be completed. In

other respects you will be subject to

the General Orders issued from time to

time by the Colonial Government and to

the Colonial Regulations in force for

the time being. A copy of the latest

edition of the Regulations is enclosed,

The appointment is under the Colonial

Government and your emoluments will

be paid solely from the funds of the
